Making the hair was some serious stroking-madness but I think that despite not having pen-pressure it turned out just fine. I just added some texture afterwards using... a fur brush, ha!

The clothes (especially the hoodie) and some of the face was detailed using references and Photoshop shenanigans.

EDIT: Semi-relevant Story Time! (09.03.14)

_{So today I was taking my weekly train (because I come back home almost every weekend). I took a seat next to the window (as always) but this time I've chosen the "four-seater" (2 seats against 2 other). I pulled my phone and started reading GTA V fanfics waiting for someone to come. It was not long before I've heard a familiar question: "Is this seat free?" I was relieved hearing that the voice belonged to someone young for a change (phew). I answered "yes, sure" and moved my eyes towards the guy. And what/who I saw was a doppelganger of Aleks. I felt that I was staring at him a little too long because he gave me a puzzled look so I quickly glued my eyes back to my phone. In my mind I was like: "Yo, what the fuck dude?! I was drawing you yesterday!" Firstly he sat diagonally but after a while he took his bag and moved to the opposing seat. Later I noticed he was reading The Game of Thrones. Also we made eye contact several times but we would break it quickly. Maybe I was reminding him of someone too, who knows. That was spooky, yo.
